"The governor has continued to outline his vision with his Executive Budget proposal that takes dead aim on reducing the size, cost and reach of our mammoth-sized state government. As a member of his Spending and Government Efficiency (SAGE) Commission, I am very pleased that he has included our recommendation in his proposed budget, and also continued to close the $3.5 budget gap while showing spending restraint for government programs.
